About Us
Christ Church is a member of the Global Methodist Church. We are located in Bowling Green, KY, on Cave Mill Road, just off Nashville Road. Our mission is to connect people to God and connect people to one another. We offer a traditional service at 8:45am and a contemporary service at 11am. We hope you will join us in worshipping God together!
Our Worship
Worship at Christ Church
We offer two worship experiences.
In our traditional service, we glorify God together through liturgy and music. Our choir leads the singing and typically sings the call to worship and the offertory. Our preaching team is lead by our lead pastor, but also includes other pastoral staff and retired clergy from our congregation.
Our contemporary services has a more relaxed style. Our praise band leads us in musical worship and our kids are dismissed to Children's Worship (ROCK) before the sermon.

Our History
Our Journey of Faith
The first Sunday morning service was on June 23, 1963, at Crescent Bowl, a bowling alley on Nashville Road. We moved into our current building later that year. The church was a member of the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church from 1968 until 2023, when we moved our affiliation to the Global Methodist Church.
